Disappearing Ebay seller has taken my money.

Anybody bought from this seller or got any idea who he is?

I paid him on the 27th for some tyres and he hasn't despatched them, hasn't answered my messages or even the email I sent to the address I found on Paypal. There's a phone number there and that is just ringing out as well.

What now? Do I start a dispute procedure?

Is that 27th March. If so I think you need to wait longer, check the Ebay site they ve got giudelines on this. I waited 6 weeks for some compression tights started off with no communication eventually got them, I suspect they d run out of stock and were using delaying tactics.

And on the flip side i sold a bike on ebay, buyer paid but after a week still has not contacted me to arrange collection! Sometimes people are just unreliable....

His feedback scores & comments are excellent so I don't think it's a dodgy seller.

I think you need to give him a bit more time, if you only bought them on the 27th.
- he does put "Estimated delivery within 3-4 business days. " on his listings, so yes you should have got them yesterday from that, but it's not like he took the money weeks ago and you've heard nothing

i have a problem with a buyer at present, the ballix has won the bid yet they havnt paid, pretty stupid bidding on something you do not intend to buy, im considering hacking there account for one, also reported to ebay so i get refund.

I wouldn't be too worried just yet...

I would expect a reply to a message within 24 hours. If they have gone away for the weekend, they should have put up a message on the site... so I would be marking them down on scores for communication.

The Post may be slow - so you will have to allow 15 days before opening a dispute.

Still not a word from the seller even though he has been selling in the last few days. Ebay has now escalated this into a "case" in the resolution centre.
