Disc Brakes Rubbing

Quick update, looked at the calliper and rotors in more detail. Moved the calliper approx 2mm which seemed to help, but was still marginal rubbing. Took the bike to Cycle Surgey in Staines who were extremely helpful. They had a look and said they just need to be bedded in abit as I've only done approx 100miles on the bike. Hopefully should be ok- thanks again for everyone taking the time to help out with advice

Is the wheel properly centred in the dropouts? Stand the bike on the ground, upright, and slightly loosen the QR skewer to make sure the forks rest evenly on the spindle then tighten again.

This is the reason why if I buy another bike with disc brakes it will have through axles.

+1, had to change a derailleur hanger, simple enough but getting the brakes aligned afterwards was a massive faff, I was hoping to go for a ride but the brakes ate up all of my time, rim brakes have their advantages...

I've never needed to, the weight of the frame's been enough - but if your arms are long enough, go for it.
