Black Friday mistakes...

Well I did manage to get some wheels for my build. Some shimano rx31 they were on offer so it was sort of the cheaper ones i could find. I ended up following some advice and got some trp spyre disc brakes but here is the catch the rotors are 6 bolt but the wheel isn't. It has the shimano centre lock. It seems I need to change for the centrelock disc rotors. Now here is the catch will the spyre brakes work with the centre lock one?

They'll work. At least, my TRP Spyres are fine with Shimano centrelock rotors. I believe you can get centrelock to 6-bolt converters, but getting the rotors seems a better idea (in that the centrelock attachment is arguably better, and certainly easier, than the 6-bolt one).

Edit: or as above buy centrelock discs. Depends what costs less imho.

Yes they will. You can also get centrelock to six bolt converters but on some bikes you can have a problem, mine particularly it brought the rotor too close to the frame so I rebuilt he wheel with a six bolt hub.

Rotors are rotors. The only issue I have with centrelock is when the rotor starts to rock on it's spline. You have to cinch down the locknut a bit harder.
