Disc pads glazing

The front pair on my CGR are glazing (Discopads, this time), & performance is getting poor/noisy
I don't think any air can have got in, as I've not disturbed the system in any way

The rears (same pads) is fine , & can lock the wheel, as I pedal
(RD505 brifters & RD785 calipers)

I guess I'll have to buy new pads

I end up sandpapering the pads (at least) monthly to deglaze them

I cut back along the river, & woods, coming home from work, so poked a lot of fairly liquid mud onto them
It worked, & l did hose it out when l got home

Puzzle game procrastinator!
I borrowed my cousin's bike in Scotland last year and the disc brakes were terrible. I managed to restore most of the front brake power by repeatedly accelerating then braking hard down this descent...

By the time I got to the bottom, the brakes were working again.

I realised later that things could have got gnarly if my cunning plan had failed!
