Thanks for the suggestion. Found a retailer today and had a chat - no disk bike in just yet but will look into this more.

I had a longish test ride on a 2014 model Cayo Di2 - that sold it to me. They were knocking them out at £2299 - instead of £2799 - which seemed a decent price. Trouble was I didn't particularly like the yellow and black colour scheme. The 2015 model is black, red and white, which I like. Also it's a slightly different frame this year apparently based on the 2014 Izalco frame used by the Tour team A2GR. It is also 11 speed instead of 10.Its also £100 cheaper than last years model! Quality bit of kit.

The carbon Cayos look a good deal compared to Spesh Roubaix and Synapse Ultegra Disc bikes.

Giving the Merida Ride Disc 5000 some thought. c £1900. Has anyone had/ridden Merida, please?
