Display of trails and waypoints

I've got a little project and I'd welcome any ideas of how to go about it.

I've got a collection of around 50-ish gpx trails. recorded over the years. Some of them are tracks (with timing) and some are routes (recorded with a GPS but saved with no timings - remember the old "reduce to 500 points" thing). I also have some waypoints of specific places. And lastly I have some photos associated with these trails and waypoints.

I'd like to be able to display these tracks and waypoints on a map, and enable viewing of trails.

Timing isn't that important. I don't mind reducing all of the trails to the lowest common denominator of having no timings.

This needs to be sharable with a few other people (so needs to be online) but needs to be kept private except for those explicitly shared people. I don't mind using links with tokens on (anyone with this link can view) But ideally you'd need a specific logon to view and onward sharing would be restricted to the owner (me)

I'm thinking of setting up a dedicated ridewithgps account and using that. Or maybe creating a "collection" under my own premium rwgps a/c if premium features are needed.

RWGPS is choice driven by familiarity. I was wondering if there are other tools that would be suitable? Any thoughts?

I've not used RWGPS so can't compare it but you might want to have a look at Komoot which is good for sharing, adding who did the route with you and adding photographs taken on the ride.

I'll check it out. I have played briefly with Komoot in the past. I'll be sure to see what it has to offer.
