Having looked up their meaning, my mind has eschewed remembering their meaning.
Oddly enough, I read this word on page 119 of 'Ordinary Thunderstorms' by William Boyd, earlier this evening. Reading this word twice in a day is good going - particularly as, without CycleChat, I would be a-guessing!
