The Leveson enquiry has shown up a few : inchoate, pellucid, logocentric, bailiwick, condign, propinquity.
Having looked up their meaning, my mind has eschewed remembering their meaning.

I came across the word 'propinquity' yesterday while reading Tess of the d'Urbervilles, along with 'hontish', 'flexuous' and 'quiescent'.

Oddly enough, I read this word on page 119 of 'Ordinary Thunderstorms' by William Boyd, earlier this evening. Reading this word twice in a day is good going - particularly as, without CycleChat, I would be a-guessing!

Today, reading the same book, threw up another word I have never seen written before:
'deliquesce'
Good, squidgy word, that.
