I nearly fell over my bike and ended up standing on the rear wheel keeping myself upright and it's now slightly buckled.
Can this be repaired or do I need a new wheel?

Cheers.

Sounds pretty bad however it would be easier if you could upload a pic.

It's rideable, it's just that I noticed that its touching the brake slightly at a point during a revolution. I'll see if I can take a pic as it comes round to the brake block.

If it's only rubbing slightly, sounds like it is only slightly out of true. This can be fixed by either you, if you have a spoke key (truing stand optional) and the knowledge - Or it could be done by your LBS.

Of course, I could be wrong if the wheel is in a worse state than your description leads me to believe.

From what you've written, it sounds as if it could be trued: any competent bike shop can do this for a couple of quid, takes minutes.

Difference is only a few mm's.

Yes it sounded worse than it really is. Get a spoke key and adjust.
