Do i need to by a new frame just to get a better make bike ?

Evening all,

Had a talk to the mrs about getting new frame and fork for Christmas. I currently ride a Saracen Tour 1 pic :

The frame is 7005 Ali, has been fully rebuilt but i have been looking to build it Using a Ribble Ali ( the blue frame ).
The thing is its the same 7005 frame, is it worth buying or should i just keep the Saracen???

The Ribble is unlikely to be an upgrade in any meaningful way.

Bad reputation in 2008 when the frame was built.

As Drago said, the basic Ribble alloy frame will be no improvement, just ride and enjoy.

Just the make, when im out riding on a Sunday and stop at a cafe with all the other bike's, i just wonder what they think.

I wouldn't worry about what others think.
If you enjoy riding the bike, then that's all that matters.
