I saw a cyclist last night wearing led wrist bands. One was red, the other green.

Why?

The only thing I could think of is that he was using the maritime scheme to signal port and starboard.

He had them arranged correctly, red on the left, green on the right.

We should have nav and beacon lights like on a plane that is certified to fly during non daylight hours.
