It's not very complicated....

It's a 3rd option. Oxbob and I have different theories based on his partridge thread of what the rabbit really is and now another option. It won't be thriving on grass that rabbit though.

I really enjoy cooking... not saying I'm brilliant at it, cos I'm not, but I'm pretty good, with the odd disaster
However, the missus does most of it (home before me, hungry brood to cater for) and I'm not sure I'd be so enthusiastic doing it every day... but Fri/Sat/Sun will often find me slaving over a hot bottle of wine, sorry stove, in the kitchen:smile:

I enjoy cooking and probably do most of it in our house.

Have always been proud that I avoid ready made meals, but can't compete with home made tofu.

I know it also probably confirms the belief of those who also think I probably knit my own muesli and weave my own yoghurt! ;)

In fact, it's just because my wife, being Japanese, can't stand the stuff that passes for tofu sold in Britain. It's not that hard to do actually and you okara (the mashed up hulls of the beans) as a byproduct, which you can use in lots of Japanese recipes.

I use this carrot cake recipe and am always very popular at work when I bring one in!;) It's easier if you do step 2 after step 5 and sieve the flour straight into the mixture.

(Sorry, you probably don't want girlies posting on this thread of macho cooking exploits!)

yup sure do, not as much asi would like, but love to take over the kitchen at weekends, more often than not we all sit around in the kitchen chatting whilst whoever cooks and always include our children in the process, easier now we are down to one as the one flew the nest in september
