Yesterday during the storm we had here, Mrs M pointed out a large incursion of flying ants in the conservatory, I went out with the 'raid' aerosol (other ant destroyers are available) and blasted thousands of the blighters to kingdom come...<insert Dr Evil style laugh> No problem didn't even give it a second thought.

I did the magnifying glass on them as a youngster (who didn't) but nowadays I try and live a 'live and let live' life!

Except for mosquitoes!

It's pretty amazing when the flying ants come out - thousands of them - really strange...then they are gone......although not good in the conservatory...

Having seen how ants come out and collect up the bodies of their dead ant friends, I now feel guilty if I kill them. They're fascinating creatures.
