Do you shower after commuting home?

Normally I just have a shower in the morning though lately, when I'm just doing a lunchtime shift, I've started to get into the habit of having a shower when I get home. A sweaty commute into work, a sweaty shift working in a kitchen then a sweaty commute home; sometimes I really feel the need to freshen up a bit.

One of the joys of being single and living alone is that I can get away with being sweaty and a bit stinky

Looks like I'm part of the stinky minority. I can feel the peer pressure building up...

I don't (unless it is a hot day). Must be a Manc thing! I do shower after my ride in though.

Feel like we need a "sometimes" option in the poll, or a "depending on the weather" option... - for me whether I shower when I get in depends on how sweaty I am for one, but also how cold or how wet or how mud splattered....

Wife insists on it.
Shower when I get to work, but without soap. Its only sweat, which surely has to be water-soluble. I use soap when I get home.

Shower when I get up. When I get to work usually use baby wipes (no shower) to freshen up. After cycling home, usually just change as it's downhill so not too sweaty. Actually...I sweat after every ride (just a personal thing) but it tends not to be smelly sweat!

As I cycle 2.1 miles in each direction, I don't shower and even wear my work clothes to cycle in.

On the way in ill have one before i leave and have a quickie when i arrive but if im running late i wont bother with one of them , you shouldnt smell if youve had a wash and used deo anyway especially when changing to fresh clothes. coming home i dont bother unless im going out or have had a paticular hot sweaty ride

I shower at work and at home. When I shower at home, most of my riding kit comes in with me. I hang it in the bathroom and it is dry for my morning ride.

I have a 12 mile ride each way.

I'm about to commute home. It's been absolutely throwing it down since about midnight and it is still doing so. 5 miles in this and I am going to need a shower before I even dream of going anywhere near my bed. It's going to be very cold and wet out there
