Nope. Haven't worn a suit for work for over 10 years. Weddings and funerals only nowadays. Haven't worn a tie to work for a similar amount of time. Got a bagful of the things somewhere, including the musical Christmas tie that still works after about a decade.

Casuals / jeans for me at work all the time.

smart trousers shirt and tie. crawling round in switchpanels doing inspections and the general filth on construction sites makes a suit impractical.
I have a 50/50 time split between office and onsite
Fridays is always jeans and a shirt with no tie as its dress down fridays.

weekends is Jeans and tshirt or combats and polo shirt etc.

I am expected to wear a suit as a teacher, even in the workshop. Only the wet construction trades in my department get changed into college logo sweatshirts or polo shirts for workshop teaching.

I've got one suit and it's got a very dead carnation in the button hole from somebody or other's wedding. Might even have been mine.

Jeans and polos around here.

I sometimes wear a suit because when I started work suits were expected and I want to get my money's worth out of the ones I bought, even though we are now officially smart casual. The rest of the time I wear smart trousers or skirt, blouse and a jacket. Most of the men in the office don't were ties except for important meetings, but some of the older or more senior guys do. I don't wear a tie because I'm female!

Nowadays, even though I like wearing a nice suit out of work, I'm almost always in jeans in the office and I almost never wear a tie there, although keep one in a drawer to put on if I'm going to see a client.
I'm with you, Uncle M. I do enjoy wearing a suit from time to time, but it has nothing to do with work.

I wear a suit to funerals, but, conversely, I wouldn't be at all put out if you all rocked up to my funeral in lycra (not that I'm planning to have a funeral anytime soon, but you know what I mean)

Sometimes I wear a suit at work for formal occasions, because it is important for other people that I do. Usually I wear a tie, because I like ties, but I never fasten my top button and often wear jeans at the same time. 'Smart casual' - a very versatile look for the lazy shopper!

We attended a funeral a couple of years back where the dress code was specified as casual. The guy had said he wanted everyone to feel comfy. It made the service a lot more relaxed and I think people appreciated that.
