Sometimes with a felt pen. Biros are an abomination. I also keep a two inch long B pencil jammed between skull and right ear, the point of which I lick before embarking on elaborate calligraphy.

All the bloody time for me. I always have a pen on me at work, never paper unless at my desk, and wear a bluetooth headset so forever taking calls and jotting the details on me so i dont forget.

In years gone by, all the time, but very rarely now.

A previous job required a minimal amount of ancillary equipment to be hauled around but often enough, a good deal of information to be recorded or remembered; that's where the manual aide-memoire came in, er, handy.

I've not written on my hand since my parents told me when I was very young that the ink was poisonous!

I think back then it probably was... and so too was the lead in my pencil apparently!

They wouldn't dare put poisonous ink in pens now ... would they?
