Bit of a dead end really. No one EVER sees the whole story in these videos [and I suspect if the vid made it's maker look like a d--k it would be edited to make sure it didn't]. Maybe the riders involved would do better looking at what's going on around them a bit more and spending less time on trying to get a good shot. Leave movies to hollywood.

Do people who ride bicycles and film the injustice and upload to youtube, they subsequently experience make aspects in todays society worse for fellow cyclists or are they justified against people who use motor vehicles, towards 'cyclists' ?

They're justified in filming their ride as a way of recording any dangerous behaviour that might need to be reported to the police. We are all familiar with the reluctance of some police to listen to cyclists' complaints.

My preference for anything that might end up in court would be to publish any such video only after the authorities have dealt with it and, hopefully, convicted the guilty party.

A bit like this example.

For a while ive wondered if the fact that like ive said is a good thing or a bad thing and im still in 2 minds over it.

For instance, i know that the atmosphere HAS changed on the road with (certain) drivers. There are times now when my viewpoint for my safety - if a driver will pull right to avoid myself when im riding on the road in front of them.

I have a mirror on the side of the headtube and i know why drivers look at the rearview QUITE A LOT...because trust for the driver behind to play ball and respect you is paramount but with a cyclist - its definately more so' !

With the popularity of the internet and youtube etc.. films of cyclists in various situations are pretty popular and those that havent and dont ride - yet just drive, a majority of these drivers seem to be against the rider. A look at twitter can see the frustration of drivers towards riders and thats putting it mildy, extremely.

I just hope the le tour this year can alleviate things and matters towards cycling and people on bikes additionally i'd like to see Team Sky & Mark Cavendish, as they have a massive presence now for popularity of the sport, to be ambassadors towards safer driving and treatment of cyclists instead of just boosting their fame polarity bouncing off the sport, when effectively, it was the tax payer that's made these riders to the status to which they now enjoy.

The Tour will not change motor car drivers attitude against cyclists one iota, whatever Team Sky and Cav say or do.

And as someone previously said, non cyclists (drivers) aren't even aware of cycling head cammers. Russian driver crash videos, now that's a different matter.
