Big fans in my household and I had to grudgingly accept that David Tenant had knocked Tom Baker off top spot but I was amazed to find we all, very quickly, relegated David Tennant in favour of Matt Smith...we love him!!! Had guessed some, particularly when the 'flesh' was introduced, but the last episode was great anyway and the kids were clueless
The only thing I'd like to see a bit less of is the end of the world/universe/time itself type scenarios and a bit more intrigue. Agree with the poster above, the Crying Angels was one of the best I've ever seen, boy were the boys scared that night.
I'm not going to openly speculate on what it might all end up at, I'm too steeped in SciFi and 'timey wimey' type stuff and it wouldn't be fair. But for those that knock Dr Who, compare it to the bigger budget churn on the back of the Star Trek/Star Wars franchises and it's pure class. It throws ideas and material at you, lots happening and a good pace, maybe even too fast sometimes. Then try watching something like Stargate, Stargate Universe, DS9, Andromeda, Battlestar, etc, etc, etc and you'd be back begging for more Dr Who.
