I think they have to be to reach many decades of cycling. If you didn’t enjoy it, why torture your self all that time?

I am on an enforced lay off from the bike at the moment due to a bad leg and I have to say looking at the weather currently I couldn't have picked a better time if I had tried.

I was out in the car the other day on a single track road so I pulled over to let a bunch of cyclists coming the other way through. Driving rain, wind, the pained expressions on their faces thinking to myself that would probably be me if I wasn't incapacitated.

If and when I get better I think I may become a fair weather cyclist 🙂
