Yes, I used them on my fixed wheel bike. They're not as good as full 'guards, but they should keep the worst of the weather off.

Yes, easy to install, maybe require a bit of bending of the struts to get the perfect fit for your bike but easier than full guards.
Once on, very easy indeed to remove and put back.

Worth protecting the frame where they go on - they come with a patch of clear tape to stick on the fork/stay to protect against rubbing : I'd actually put another couple of layers on - clear tape, electrical insulation tape anything like that.

The back one's fine, but I found the front one a bit short - go though a puddle and half of it could dump in your shoe : this fixed easily by pop-riveting a piece cut from a fabric softener bottle to the bottom.

Yes and yes. (Little fiddly at first, but once you work out how to fit and unfit them it's a piece of cake)

Once you have them fitting properly, I was advised to put a small screw through the guard into to plastic where the strut meets the guard. Apparently, taking them on and off and having them lying around when you're not using them can lead to them moving and subsequently rubbing when you put them back on. I did this so can't tell you if it actually helps but I never had any problems!

I moved on to the crud road guards because of the the extra cover they provide but these are much more of a nuisance to take on and off. The race blades can literally be put on in seconds.

Yeah, I have them. I think they're fine as mudguards to be honest. I don't intend to take them on and off though really as it's my commute bike and it rains a fair bit in the UK.

Yeah but make sure you fit them properly.
My rear one had a major brake (no idea how) but i've just replaced it and it doesn't fit as well. need to sort the rubbing out.

I have Crud roadracer mudguards which have proved good this winter. They cope with very tight clearances.

They are designed to break rather than jam your wheel if anything gets caught between blade and tyre. This happened to me, a bit of mud and grit or something broke the front blade (I wouldnt have been on such a muddy farm road if riding on my own.).Crud send you the replacement bits for the cost of postage.

Taking off is only a minute putting on may take 5 or 10 minutes to position them exactly right.http://www.crudproducts.com/products/spares/roadracer

As Banjo said. Hardest bit for me was getting the fluffy brake rim clearance thingies in the right place, so not hard at all really.
