Does anyone here work as a tutor in FE?

I am seriously considering training to teach in FE colleges (Health and Social Care), probably in a couple of years. Just wondered if anyone has gone through this process. What was it like? How did you study/train for your teaching in FE qualification - were you working full time while studying? How is it working in FE, did you leave?
