Lovely hot afternoon and off to the recycling and pub lunch

Taking the Christiania so will be wearing the tried and tested Tilley hat

On the way out I looked a the Evade helmet and it just occurred that wearing an aerodynamic racing helmet does not really match the big plodding trike

Dies your headgear change with the machine you are riding?

If I'm commuting or on a long road ride I wear my blue Giro helmet regardless of bike. If it's the weekend or a local leisure ride I wear a cap or no headgear at all.

I do have two helmets but now just tend use one, as it's cooler.
In the winter if it's really cold, I sometimes switch to the other one

I have four helmets one in China, one in Manilla, one in Ho Chi Ming City and one in the UK and I almost never go on a bike without wearing one.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matching helmet with my patriotic colours on my road bike

No helmet mountain bike (I only do public trails/walks so nothing hardcore)

No helmet foldup bike, unless I'm out and about with the wife on a long ride

Summer - wear the same cycling cap whatever bike I am riding

Winter - wear the same helmet to keep my cap and skull cap on my head whatever bike I am riding.

Slaphead here so always wear a cap to protect me from the sun. Only change when my favourite is in the wash.

I rather think my headgear compliments my ride perfectly.

All that is on my head is a number 2 cut, or if I'm feeling jaunty, a number 1, I like a tan and I think it suits whatever I am riding.

Blue Specialized lid so it kind of matches the roadie, which is blue. It doesn't match the CX which is black and lime green. If I am just trundling up and down the marriotts, I don't always bother with a lid though.
