Okay... here goes... brace yourselves...

The first is me on the first day of Senior School (so I'll be nearly 12, I think). The second is from my University days.. in casual dress... well, casual for going to see Rocky Horror that night. The third is from me last year on a night out with the ladies from my Daughter's Nursery... the night before my first 100 miler (no beers  )

Not at all, Sharkster. People are just being a bit rubbish. Has Crackle finished furtling in his drawers yet?

Not yet, I can only go back to 22 at the moment. One at 15 is definitely somewhere in reach but younger, I'm struggling.

That's a thought I didn't need on a Wednesday morning, theclaud!

You obviously haven't drunk enough. Responses to Dellzeqq's thread are suggesting alarming levels of CycleChat sobriety.

OK - well, keep at it! Someone around here must be having a bit of a furtle, though. I have my suspicions...

I have tried to find some photos of me as a kiddie. Bear in mind that fifty years ago, cameras produced fuzzy photos about two inches by two inches that have faded to sort of brownie and cream.

Like Teef's and Dellzeqq's, you mean ? Look at it as an opportunity to preserve them for posterity. Have you got a friend with a scanner?

Steady on! That sort of thing belongs in P&L...

I'm disappointed how few people are posting in this thread. As you say, it could be good fodder for a caption competition. Come on, folks!

Can't post what I don't have Claudine. My kiddy pics are in my parents album at their house.

Whatever happened in between?
Wow - that one of you as a 3 year old is a cracker!!! They don't make outfits like that any more (and some might say that's a blessing!!:biggrin: ).

Excellent pics, David!

Excellent pics, David!

You often see that sort of outfit from times before the 1960s, when much more mass produced stuff appeared. That one, I'm told, was knitted by my granny.

The swimsuits are also something that was common. There are pictures from the same era (mid 1950s), not scanned yet as my mother still has them, with me in the water with my father and uncle, both of whom are wearing full body swimsuits rather than trunks!

Although not common on 3 year olds the baby growers of the past 30+ years aren't all that different from what was hand knitted up to the 50s and 60s.
