It's not like the pipe was actually up the dogs bottom, is it?
Yebbut salmon can swim upstream and even leap up waterfalls, do we have data on the behaviour of dog worms in similar circumstances?

I'll remember this thread when I see bottles of Malvern Springs water on the shelves:sad:.

Or Peckham Spring.

I would like to tell you that I never see local restaurant owners filling loads of water ( I want to say ' butts ' but not appropriate) bottles from this spring, but would be lying.

"Spring water with your meal sir"?
They're making work for themselves. The term "spring water" has no legal meaning, might as well just fill it from the tap. It's only "mineral water" that actually means anything.

Errr... that's the directive relating to mineral water - not spring water (despite what the web-page says).... @winjim is correct. Only 'mineral water' is the protected term.

I remember when Schweppes closed their Malvern spring water plant (now rather nice houses) there was a load of fuss when someone else started up a 'malvern spring water' company. I believe it's based at holy well spring..which is my second favourite spring.... actually all things considered I think it's moved up a place on my list!

I knew that spring water could be bottled straight from the source, but didn't think it had to be.

If the authorities were really concerned about contamination they'd seal it off surely?

I bet when night falls you have the full spectrum of Malvern fauna rinsing their teeth and dangling their undercarriages in there.

I can just see Ratty & Co with their leaky bladders having a field day in there cavorting under the stars - possibly whilst engaging in some watery procreation activities. ^_^
