The odd dog mess is nothing....a few weeks ago my mate and I rode on a single track through Axe Edge moor,. A farmer had been muck spreading and it was strewn all over the track for about 400m, luckily though it was pretty dry.

However, it poured with rain about an hour later, we went back the same direction and had to ride through 400m of what I can only describe as slurry. It was flicking up all over the place, running down my legs and covering everything with a stinking sludge. Even my water bottle was caked in it and all I could smell all the way back to Bakewell was sh*te!

Yep; had this riding a BW through a field over Colin's way when I used to mountain bike. Couldn't work out what this sticky grey grainy stuff was that was flicking all over us until I spotted a condom and then some other unmentionable items discarded by people down their bogs.... yeuch!

After riding home from work some years back, sat at the kitchen table reading the local rag I kept getting an overpowering waft of dog sh*te, so I took my shoes off, no poo there, called my three girls into the kitchen, asked them if they could smell dog poo, they couldn't, made them take their shoes off, no poo there! But the stench was getting stronger.
By now, feeling a bit nauseous I went upstairs to shower & shave, whereupon the sickening source was discovered,................ somehow on my ride home I'd managed to get a small piece of dog ****e stuck up my right nostril!!! I must have ridden over a dog egg, flicking some up onto my gear change levers, then onto my gloves and finally into my nose while launching a "snot rocket" !
Took me ages to get rid of the stench, after snorting aramis, gargling with TCP etc.

I think I've just been a little bit sick.. Yeuchh !!

WE ha an issue with a dog regularly dumping on our driveway.......

Luckily my brother is a keen bird watcher and lent us a "wildlife camera"

Two days later. we had video and photographs of the individual watching and his dog in the act

Then attached the photos of the dog in the act, and a link to the YouTube video to lamp posts asking if anyone knew the individual.

We haven't had a problem since

Might be worth something though!
Anyone know the street value/going rate of a bag of doggy doos.

Walking the dog late last night & someone on a bike grabbed the bag from my hand, before flying of downhill. Nighttime Ninja. Didn't pay much attention before it happenned, near the road & a junction. So I'm watching the dog.

What they thought they were getting I'm not entirely certain.

We had something similar near to us. We told the woman that her dog had toileted and she told us to 'effing pick it up our effing selves' and then called us a pair of c-words. Hubster did pick the poo - with a bag- and then smeared the poo on all her car door handles including the boot handle. We then carried on with our dog walk.

This I like!

Worth reporting to the local council as a health hazard. Also classified as a vehicle shedding part of its load.
