Really? I have just watched the main bbc news and it wasnt mentioned.
Not my favourite but a very talented singer songwriter.

It's on the BBC News website, she was a good person, particularly with her charity work getting kids to read

I've just read this. She did a hell of a lot of charity work abd spent lots of her money on charitable work.

I never heard anyone say a bad word about her.

I dislike the music but she was a legend in her own lifetime. A huge loss to the Nashville music world.

I've just heard the news and her music tributes on BBC Radio One, while moving from channel to channel. This is highly unusual to hear such a tribute on that Radio station. She did a lot to help upcoming musicians, the disadvantaged and various animal charities. She was a nice person indeed!
