Done deal on a BH ,

my GF had her Cube nicked , so not much hope of getting it back now , so been around looking for replacement , and out of the blue at one of my favoured LB's this BH came up , Tiagra gs , usual frame set in this price range , she had a bomb round the area today and its come up trumps , and as its going on '17 , got a 250 discount , so good result all round ,
Crown Cycles , St Margarets , between Richmond and Twickenham,
Top Bloke , bikes for all , and budgets ,
will pick it next week after hes fitted all bits etc

Or you might want to let your lass do a few rides, decide on preferred bar height, then get the bike shop to chop the steerer at the first service.

Her Cube had white bar tape also , it was ok , the bars were set at the correct height for her today , when she goes to pick it up next week all will be done , she really liked the micro shifters it comes with , and noticed the crisp shifting of the new Tiagra compared to the Claris on the Cube , which was going to be upgraded to Tiagra or 105 , as it happens now , she has a brand new bike for not much more than an upgrade , there will be some good deals around now as this with dealers begining to look toward next years models ,

Or you might want to let your lass do a few rides, decide on preferred bar height, then get the bike shop to chop the steerer at the first service.

Good idea - just in case she wants a hand position a bit like this:-

A lot of bike shops - and manufacturers - would rather sell you a new stem than cut the steerer to your preferred length.

I prefer the traditional approach from the likes of Spa in Harrogate who offer you the choice, where it exists.

Cheers , the wheels are white with black spokes , yep it is exactly what she wanted , and the price is what I wanted !! , but apparently it is a 15' model , BH as @Pale Rider said , not as popular here , the LBs owner also said , but Ive been on line and it is a reputable brand , made in Spain ,

Just come back from a holiday in Italy and BH's were very popular and everywhere, probably outnumbering all the usual Italian makes, so I've no doubt they are a reputable make. Nice looking bike BTW

That's encouraging about the Italian's riding them in numbers , Ms ozboz was hell bent on another Cube , but I managed to persuade her to shop around ,
We went into Crown Cycles to look at the Merida Juliet range , when the Boss , Mark saw how small she is he mentioned this bike he had in storage , so we went back on Sunday to have a shuftey , after 20 mins tearing around Twickenham Town it was a done deal , she loved it !!

Probably means 2015, although it is a small frame, that would more likely be quoted in cm esp on a Spanish bike.
