So I'm back, after 1100 miles and 29 days. Never done owt like it before and it was an unmissable, unforgettable experience.
As reported earlier, I kept a blog along the way and you can read all the installments by following the link below.
Given all the stuff on there it seems a trifle OTT to be writing a trip report as such, so I've confined myself to a couple of final posts on my blog which you can read, if you're interested. The first's comments on gear I used an' the second's my post ride thoughts and feelings.
Enjoy!

Oh, by the way, if in doubt ... just do it!
Cheers :okay:

Fantastic and a great write-up!!! :bravo:
I'd love to do a tour but not that far! I wouldn't go solo either.
Very well done to you - I didn't wonder how you were getting on!
Thanks. Cycle touring's great fun. I recommend giving it a go, on your own terms. Try starting with an overnight trip like I did.

This is what is so good about cycling, it can be exactly what you want it to be. A life changing adventure, transport to work, a pootle to the shops etc etc.
Good for you:okay::bravo:
