....until you look at it next to this :

Then the Merc looks rooted to the floor and a bit of an overfussy dogs dinner compared to the clean lines of the Jaguar.

Ahh.....the old gull wing Merc......hmm......nearly as nice as a bicycle.

Never liked E-types though. Especially after I regularly got a lift in one when I used to hitch back in the '70s ; the driver only had one arm, and that was on the right. He'd hold the wheel with his legs while reaching across and changing gear. I was curled up on the parcel shelf while my girlfriend sat in the front seat. Happy days!

Ah a V12 Jag. I don't normally get excited by cars, but, a mate of mine had one for a while back in the 70's, it was a great car and a babe magnet. Need i say more.

Cars normally do nothing for me. That includes the Merc above which I find just .... boring.

But there are 2 that do.

One's the MGB

The other's the E type. It just looks perfect.

I think the E Type is hideous. Wrong from every angle. I know they are (almost, other than a few posting above) universally acclaimed but they do nothing for me.

Personal taste.

Overall I rate cars as humanity's worst invention so would rather they all went away!
