Yes, great city, but those hills would kill me!San Fran is one of the few places I completely fell in love with and would like to live there. It feels more European than American.
The video's from Greece apparently. And a helpful commenter translates (some of!) what the biker is shouting: it seems the car ran a red light, so that clears the biker. Lucky guy - I think the way he rolled across the car roof helped to soften the impact.Ah yes, Sao Paolo: 20 motorcyclist deaths a day ...
Some of the driving is pretty dangerous, but when I was out there, I never saw a single accident, I even cycled and hitched a lift on a ped.

What a complete and utter pratt, I wouldn't of had the cool and forgiving manner of the bloke in a suit. That cyclist deserves splattered by a 4x4
And now they are proposing to remove road markings and so on in some British towns???

You do realise that crossing the road without using the 'crosswalk' is illegal in the states? So i'm pretty sure you would not make a scene as you were in the wrong as well.
It wasn't working for me in Firefox so I opened it in IE
Hmm I think you're mixing up the two countries. British people are famous for apologizing for ANYTHING! It's just not like that in the states, especially in the cities. Different cultures I suppose. The cyclist came off as a right twat though, the way he spoke to the other guy. I'd say sorry if I hit a ped even if I was going the right way down the street and they had just jumped out into my path, it's the decent thing to do.
I'd consider going the wrong way through that traffic a greater crime than jaywalking, anyway.
