I've a friend whose first language isn't English and but is far more competant than I would be at speaking a foreign language - but every now and a again she makes hilarious mistakes when she gets the order of the words mixed up.

Another favourite was "Sort out pork!"

My brother works in a bank, and laments the passing of the cheque book for this very reason.

People on a night out, hear good joke, want to remember it and write it down.... and the cheque book was the handy place to write it.

Quite often they would hear a chortle from a teller as they read the joke on a cheque they were processing.

You may be right. When I was pondering (dithering, as they saw it) over the spec for my custom frame from XACD, they emailed me one morning with 25 copies of the same 1.2mb techincal drawing and

WHY SO LONG??!! IS VERY SIMPLE!!!
