On a better note Michel Hessmann returns, riding for Movistar in March.

Worse thing about the latest Wiggo revelation is in all the comments sections from knuckleheads making the link from PED to Cocaine use, thus, its proof he was doping as a rider.

The two may be linked in that my suspicion is that struck-off Freeman basically doped him (edit: possibly without consent, or by persuading or pressuring), but the lack of records means we'll never know for sure, and it's easy to see how that could mess with someone's mind and lead to dodgy decisions.

Not posting this in his defence, but rather as an insight into his naivety.
I'm coming round to the idea that he was being manipulated from a variety of angles.

Random observation from the Guardian article, it mentions him as a father of 2, but I thought in very recent times he had a new baby with a new partner (Now ex I gather) so that should be 3?

heavy reading but i ploughed though it and it gave increased performance in warm conditions.

Methylphenidate increased exercise performance in warm conditions (p = 0.049). Power output was greater in methylphenidate group (p = 0.028)

It's Ritalin, an ADHD drug. He got it from his study group where two of them had ADHD, as it's known as a "study drug" that increases concentration. This is pretty common for students. When he was tested he mentioned to the tester that he'd taken it. He apparently didn't know it was on the banned list (maybe because students talk about it as if it was a caffeine pill?). Bloody stupid imo, but he's a talented young amateur club rider, not a pro, so probably not quite in that "record everything that enters your body" paranoia.
