I ran it three years in a row and never had my blood tested. You could get away with anything in those days.

It makes a change from cycling. Hopefully, most people will realise that doping seems to be present in many sports.

Are we surprised? Why has it taken the World so long to wake up to thie fact that it's happening in EVERY sport?

Not just doping but plain lying as well - my colleague lives in Nigeria where he plays tennis and is heavily involved with a local club. His two daughters play in local competitions but his frequent complaint is that parents lie about their kids' ages and his daughters find themselves playing kids a couple of years older. This is common in junior sport all over the world, he reckons.

I think it's fair to say that there will be some form of 'doping' in all sports at any level.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
