Double deck cycle

Just browsing the Greater Anglia train companies website for restrictions and came across this:

"Unfortunately, tandems cannot be carried on any other services and we cannot carry bicycle trailers or double deck cycles on any of our services at all. We simply don’t have room – sorry!"

What's a double deck cycle?

I remember a few years ago on a Brightin FNRttC one being ridden.

I would not mind betting that there is plenty of room on many of Greater Anglia's for a tandem. Wouldn't it be nicer to say that 'tandems and other non-standard bicycles may be carried at train staff's discretion subject to there being sufficient space'? That would make life a little more tolerable for some customers, so it's out of the question.

I don't use a bicycle trailer on these routes, I have a holdall......

Then when I get off, I reattach the wheels and towing arm.....
