Just checked the routing on the delivery info they emailed and it seems my Scunthorpe bound parcel was en route to not North Lincs but North Kinds somewhere near.....

To be fair, though, this might have been a mishearing for North Kyme (TF1552), only about 5 miles as the crow flies from New York (TF2455), and both in the flatlands......better known as Lincolnshire, albeit somewhat to the south of sunny Scunny. If you'd known, you could have asked Dave Yates to take delivery for you - he's only a couple of miles west of New York!

I would have thought amazon would set up their own delivery company.

Not their core business. And until they can delivery consistent profits diversification would be foolish.
