Most owner/drivers are just fickle fools,.....in the main driven by mejia Darlings , in their fake designer ware, big dark glasses, fake fur trimmed 'puffa' coats, skinny leggings and fluffy slippers......see that a lot around here.
Its plainly ridiculous , these monstrosities ,built for farmers to drive across a fell , whack a dead sheep in the back, then across a farmyard deep in liquid farm slurry, to get to whatever ,wherever they need with a dead sheep.
That's the original purpose of the Range Rover, with it's rubber mats and vinyl seats ,a quick bhose out , then off to the Opera (?).
Try that with a load of electronic aids, alcantara leather trim and burnished walnut trim, swearing fluffy slippers!

Us ' Humans' are complete wazzocks sometimes

Fickle fools with usually zero training, rendering the off road abilities rather moot even if they did use them.

Snow last night, 11 degrees now. Disappointing.

It was washed away by warm heavy rain* circa midnight.

Oooh! We have an Orange alert for both Monday and Tuesday with 30-40cm (some local areas 50cm) of snow expected per 24 hours. Great! This is on top of the 12-15cm already on the ground.

It's now snowing here, but so far it's only about 2 millimeters. Though as I post it's 0 degrees Celsius and rain is forecast for later in the day when it'll be a mere 1 degree Celsius, meaning it will be very slippy underfoot! I doubt it'll be safe for me to venture out later today, or on Monday.

I only ventured out yesterday to take my mutt for a pee and things on the grassed area around my flat. That was dodgy enough as some of the grassed area is quite a slope, so I had to be careful not to slip. I then wondered if the pavement and road would be ice free enough to get to my car, but as these photos I took show, it was definitely not safe to try it!
