A few years ago, my sister's parents in law went on one of these programmes. They were interested in buying a second property in New Zealand where my sister and her husband live.
Instead, the programme took them to Bulgaria and featured them looking at holiday properties there. Obviously, they did not buy. I can only assume that they just fancied a free trip abroad and appearing on the telly.

Not sure anyone actually lives in Knightsbridge anymore. Tends to be the London home for a few weeks in the summer for some.
