Dreaming of a white Christmas?

Looking unlikely here now, despite the forecast just a few days ago.
Weather experts on the radio were just saying it's more likely the further north you live. Well, that's why they are experts, who would have thought that snow in the UK is more likely further north?

P.S. A REAL white Christmas means a good covering, not your "single flake on the roof of London's Met Office".

Yes in an ideal scenario I want it to begin snowing (hard) around 3pm Christmas Eve and be heavy snowfall all night. White Christmas for the day and melt fully away by Boxing day night. Unlikely and specific I know but that's my wish.
