.when you look at the two bikes together you can see how much the UCI restrict bike development, imagine if they relaxed the rules a bit to permit serious innovation of road and tt bikes.

.the UCI also banned the original Shiv which they certified after protests regarding the nose cone configuration of the original design, it used to look like this..

This is going off topic, but there are similar issues with the Giant Trinity Advanced SL, there are various nose cones and only some are UCI legal.

Ha!..this reminded me of when I was 16 and cycled to paris via the Normandy coast...I had two water bottles on the bars with straws in them. One had scotch whiskey in it and the other water for most of the trip
