BTW, can someone explain why there isn't a task force checking lists of reg numbers against insurance databases and tracking down uninsured drivers? Maybe there is.

Round near me the Corsa is an idiot boy racers favorite, being cheap, easy to upgrade (ie hang loads of plastic shoot off). You usually hear them coming as they have a HUGE exhaust pipe sounding like a dumper truck on a 1.0L engine . These muppets actually think they are cool.

Well done for reporting it. I had a similar incident on Sandy Lane in Wideopen last year. Big wide empty road, two hot hatches coming the other way, the first of which came right into my lane to scare me. It worked.

I must say though, I see a young lad in a souped-up Corsa regularly on my commute and his driving is exemplary. He always gives me textbook overtakes. Plus, Cav used to drive a chavved-up gold Corsa!

Yes, don't tar all the Corsa drivers with the same brush, my lad drives an old Corsa, passed his test last year and the Corsa fitted what he wanted and his budget, I've been in the car with him a few times and he ain't bad.

This was a shed of a Corsa that nearly took me out,Probably no tax or MOT,
bald tyres from doing donuts on the road and gawd knows what else
