Police in Cardiff are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred at the junction on Cardiff
Road and Fairwater Road in Llandaff at around 4.50pm on Wednesday 12th November.
As a 67 year old male cyclist was riding from Cardiff Road into Fairwater Road he came into contact with a black car turning right onto Cardiff Road. The cyclist fell from his bike but was uninjured.
As a result of the collision the car driver, described as a white male wearing construction gear, has stolen the cyclist’s pedal cycle in lieu of damage to his car.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone who may know the whereabouts of the bicycle – a black and white Dawes mountain bike – to contact South Wales Police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 5551111 and quote reference 1400424056.
