Driver who punched cyclist arrested

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere but I read in the Evening Standard last night that the driver who was seen on video punching the cyclist-lawyer has finally been caught . However, I couldn't seem to find a link.

Man charged after helmet camera films ‘cyclist attack’
A MAN has been charged with assaulting a cyclist after the alleged beating was captured by another bike rider’s helmet-camera.

John Nicholls, 29, of Dartford, was arrested two days after the Evening Standard published stills from the video. Solicitor Simon Page, 49, of Guildford, was allegedly punched in Bexley Village on May 15 after his group of six cyclists prevented a motorist from overtaking. The video, seen on the internet by more than 150,000 people, shows a Peugeot pulling over and a man getting out before the alleged assault.

I'd like to know if he turned out to be the registered owner, and if not what his relationship to the registered owner is and then I'd like to hear that the registered owner is being charged with obstructing a police inquiry

I heard the guy walked into the police station with his own lawyer.
'Arrested' makes it seem like the Met did some work.

Ok here's the link to the local rag. If you scroll down to the comments you'll see that John is really a nice guy. His mum had just died and a group of cyclists viciously attacked his car despite him overtaking at a safe distance. He's also a very capable cyclist having ridden a London - Paris Charity ride so basically we're all being very nasty people for having a go at him.

Oh and by the way, it took over two months for this upstanding member of the community to hand himself in at a police station. He may have suddenly noticed he was on TV a lot!!!

I've added my tuppence and Downfader from this parish seems to have joined in too.

I put it to you the the defendant was assisting the lawyer, who clearly needed to have earwax removed from his right ear...

Same experience.

One of the local thugs I remember from school died in a house fire and the paper was saying what a loving and well liked individual he was when everyone was actually glad he wasn't around to carry out violent robberies against children any more.
