Thanks everyone..can anyone recommend any bar ends or the aero clip on things that would be best?

I had these on my old hybrid.

They were quite good for extra hand positioning but I didn't set them up with brakes or shifters, it was just to see if I liked the position.

Maybe look at the Ergon grips with the bar ends. Comfortable for hands/palms with the bar end additions

Just bought these...I know they are not going to be Ergons but worth a punt at £3.49!

try bar ends first it's cheaper, it solved some of my issues on my hybrid.
