Check it out! It's a Nissan Micra for sale soon. The owner's 85 years old and has decided to give up driving after many years, which included 37 as a professional coach driver he told me. I saw him tonight on Tesco carpark. I said his car looks in good nick, then he told me it'll be for sale next month after he gets it MOT'd. He said he'll want about £2, 350 for it. He said he has it serviced every 6 months and it's been garaged since he bought it. I should've taken a photo, but it was peeing it down so I didn't hang around. It's a nice blue in colour, the same as this one.

That version (K13?) was woeful and sold very poorly as a consequence. They took a Renault Clio, removed any vestige of charisma and then assembled it with Prit Stik. A car im sure they'd like to forget.

I've spotted a few of that Micra model recently. They all looked in good condition, but that doesn't tell you much. I had a mark 2, 1996 one. It was quite basic, but very reliable. I had it when I first started my window cleaning round. I had to buy an extension for the roof rack as roof racks for small 2 door cars aren't long enough to safely hold long ladders on. 😉

So he's had the MOT done! I must've misheard him when he said something about the MOT in March.🤔

download a free App called Vehicle Smart. you can look up past MOTs and mileage and tax status all in one go. And you can add your own car to your "garage" so it'll send you reminders when mot and tax are due

I take it back. I forgot that the thread title had the registration number.
The current MOT expires in March next year.

I did see cushions on the back seat, but then I have cushions on my back seat....and the driver's seat!😉

You could say that about any 11 year old car. All Japanese cars have reliability thumbs up, so it'll be worth buying. Like I said, the car's been regularly serviced and garaged. The current owner is like me, as in does 2 or 3 thousand miles a year and drives like he's taking his driving test!😉

Hammond has small man syndrome, so most likely needs 'muscle cars' to make himself feel good!😏
