Damaged three nipples on my rear wheel and need to replace them. I initially ordered some standard replacements to later discover that the rim was built using squorx type.
I'm assuming that the ends were seized due to bi-metal corrosion - any advice to avoid this happening again?
So - I now need to buy a Squorx wrench plus some replacement nipples. The wheel requires anodised black fittings but there are two options - brass or alloy.
Is there any real difference? How can I know what is presently on the rim before ordering if it does matter?
Many thanks
