I have an issue with my freehub on Syncros RP2.0 wheel sounding like there's a bag of spanners rattling around in it.

Trying to disassemble it, I have the end caps off both ends of the axle and guides online tell me DT swiss freehubs should just pull straight off (or with a little encouragement). Will it b&%*&^)£s. Have tried putting large sprocket rings on there to help pull it, fitted it in the workbench and given it a really good tug. Hasn't budged.

Can post pic later.

Any ideas before I give up and take it to a repair shop?

It should pull off - but before you try check as your hub may well have the DT Swiss star ratchet system as you will need a special tool for removal to get access to the bearings and a good vice as well. The tool is very expensive to buy (£50-55?) so may be best left to a shop that already has one

They are, apparently, a 'pull' to remove. My LBS had to put use a vice and wiggle the wheel quite a lot to remove it!
