I didn't know that, they must have churned them out by the million. The Honda Cub, in it's 50, 70 and 90cc guises is the best selling motor vehicle of all time.

What was the gear change on those? Press the back down once for first, then what? I ask because the Honda 90 was back once, then forward twice for second and another for third, but your gear lever is shaped to suggest you lift the front part to go up the gears. I hope you see what I mean.I had the CD 90 variant, same engine but with a 4speed gearbox and manual clutch.

I cheated though and stuck an SS 50 tank, exhaust and chainguard on it and used to go out 'baiting' FS1E and AP50 riders on it, they would just start to pull away when I was in 3rd (and they were in top) but I'd got another gear left.
It still had the 'rocker' type pedal but you could just use the front bit (it was rounded not flat like the stepthru) and it was 1 down 3 up on that I seem to recall (it's a long time since 79 when I had it)What was the gear change on those? Weren't they semi-automatic with a centrifugal clutch? It still had the 'rocker' type pedal but you could just use the front bit (it was rounded not flat like the stepthru) and it was 1 down 3 up on that I seem to recall (it's a long time since 79 when I had it)
Not my style, but I know of a group of lads in Macclesfield who rode theirs to the Monaco Grand Prix. Bullet proof Japanese engineering.

I know I am going to get kicking off the forum rockers, but hey for me ultimate bike would be a GS150

Learner legal toy. Very pretty toy but a 125 nonetheless. Now as a 500cc bike it has potential. On that note, I quite fancy one of these new little AJS's:

My primary objection to that bike is to styling a 125 as a cafe racer. What's wrong with a 125, I have my first coming in, my commute is 5 miles, what good is 500?
But not as pretty, imo, as a Triumph Thruxton. But Pretty
not as pretty as a desmo though, so that's something Ducati have in their favour
Dignitas?My Vespa is a 150, I've had a 250, 500, 650, 850, 1000, & a 1300, there is a point as you get older when you realise all the fun has gone.

Tidy it but not chop it!A beauty that I'd have to chop up that back end though I'm afraid.
