Is it worth it? How do I go about getting a duck?

I saw a sign today for 'Duck Racing' whilst cycling around and the thought entertained me for a few seconds.

Suddenly the thought has re-erupted, out of nowhere, like a portentous wind of ectoplasm slapping me round the face like a dead, de-electrified electric eel, and I must know.

It's not a gay 'ducky' thing, is it?

I used to sell plastic ducks on E Bay. Even had an organisor of a duck race enquire about ordering a large (Flock?) amount for the race.
