Durham city bike shops?

My mate and i are going to Durham city on tuesday,and i was hoping to go window shopping in some cycling shops.Can anyone recommend any, and tell me where to find them,i dont know the city at all.Cheers

Cycle Force 2000(and a Murphy's bar over the road !) 29, Claypath. Direction is away from the castle / cathedral past church in market square and over the main road.
There are 2 or 3 others but that's the one I tend to use.

Specialist Cycles Frederick Street South, Meadowfield, Durham (This is South West of the town on the A690, through Langley Moor)
M.T.S. Cycle sport, Marshall Terrace (runs parallel to Sunderland Road)

Can't you just tell I'm looking at an A to Z !

Also Durham County Council will send you free cycle touring route maps around the Co. Durham area. I e-mailed and asked for the "North" map and got all three plus a load more gumph ! Thankyou ratepayers !

I've only lived round here 4 months so cannot vouch these are the only shops. Have a good trip !

Oh, and remember, Durham is known as the city of Seven Hills !

Thanks for the info guys,we will be going by train,in the morning,so ill hopefully be coming home with a set of full mudguards and a rack maybe,but we will see.
