I saw a chap face plant the road a couple of years back. Just hit a very small pothole. He was going at speed so had no time to react and down he went.

I want to mention the case of the woman who tried, unsuccessfully, to sue Barnet council after she was was injured hitting a pothole on her (illegal) e-scooter.

The reason I want to mention her is not because it's relevant to the thread but because her name was Giovanna Drago. Coincidence? I think not.

And even more importantly, motor vehicles cause many many fatalities to non participants. This is a horrible injustice. And just to be clear I do use a car, albeit try and be sensible

Well yes, it does make it worse but these are untaxed, uninsured motor vehicles driven by often unlicensed people in an often illegal manner and that's your main gripe?
