East Manchester to Southport route?

I forgot about this thread, but have just found it again ...

I am free except for the last weekend in July when I am supposed to be doing a forum ride of mine. So far, however, nobody has shown any interest in that ride so I could postpone it by a week if you are doing your ride that weekend? If so, let me know ASAP because I won't change the date of my ride once I have other riders committed to it!

Sorry only just got your message.
Need to sort out a few details bike storage at other end etc before I can commit. Which I'll do tomorrow
Don't worry if it's too late for you, do the forum ride.

Hi Colin,
I'm not going to be able to do the ride I'm afraid.
Been thinking I've 100 miles to do then as soon as I land in Southport my 6 year old is going to want me chasing home about which I won't be in any fit state to do.
Thanks for your help though and I hope I can get out that way on the bike soon
